The Matawa First Nations Learning Centre in Thunder Bay held its graduation ceremony on June 8, 2017. The Rotary Club of Bowmanville is pleased to be able to support the Learning Centre by providing $11,000 in bursaries to recognize the achievements of graduates or classrooms. Two Bowmanville Rotarians, Ted Mann and Georg Krohn, attended the ceremony. As a token of their appreciation, the Matawa Learning Centre presented the Club with a framed Rotary logo intricately created in bead work.
