Thursday February 24 may not have actually been The Coldest Night of the Year but for Oshawa Rotarian Rhonda Gorham and about a dozen members of the Bowmanville Rotary Club it was, in fact, a very warm hearted evening.
The Bowmanville Rotarians joined Rhonda for a leisurely walk through downtown Bowmanville to raise money to support The Refuge, a shelter for homeless youth in Durham Region. The walk raised about $350 toward the project.
And how cold was it? Well let's put it this way, Joe was not wearing shorts
